Course Summary

Throughout each of the Adultology courses, you will find a very prominent theme which impacts each area of your life and that is the theme of interpersonal relationships. An interpersonal relationship is the association between two or more people that can fill certain implicit or explicit needs. They may include family, friendships, romantic relationships, teammates, co-workers, neighbors, and many more.

The objectives of this course include the following: 

  • The different types of interpersonal relationships and their general impact
  • Your personal brand and what you offer to others in relationships 
  • The value you receive from different relationships and which ones are most important to your future 
  • How to evaluate, build, and foster a professional network 
  • How to obtain a mentor and maintain a mentorship relationship 
  • How relationships are developed and how they come apart and what you must do to properly maintain them
  • How to decipher between toxic and healthy relationships 
  • Your responsibilities in each relationship 
  • How to manage and resolve relationship conflict and when leaving a relationship is most appropriate 
  • The differences between relationship conflict and bullying 

Course Curriculum

Great Information

Overall this course was very useful and informative. I like the breakdown of the various types of relationships and how to build each type. Since I took thus course on my phone I believe there could be some smoother transitions to the different lessons but that was a minor nuisance that did not detract from the knowledge gained. I enjoyed this and will be recommending this course to others.
